YOU MUST ASK FOR A PRINTOUT AND THEN ASK THEM EXPLAIN ALL THE DETAILS. They are busy office and the ladies are very nice. Yet, they do not offer information to the patient. They assume everyone knows what they know. However, when you ask for the information letting them know you have know idea what the visit entails, what insurance covers, the patients portion and ask for a printout for all the details they are very helpful.

The dentist filed down my front teeth to apply fillings and she ended up doing it lopsided--both front teeth were shorter than the surrounding teeth. I asked for corrections on the filings after expressing my dissatisfaction in being mutilated and was told that it was a result from grinding my teeth (this is by the dentist that had been haphazard in the first place). The dentist had taken two walk-in consultations and there had been a third person shadowing the appointment (they were doing too much, and messed up my teeth in the process). Billing tried to file the appointment as a cleaning and that was strange--now there is a very inconvenient delay in responding to my medical release of information request (as to not be a patient any longer with Gentle Dental)

The front desk person was cheerful delight and she made sure I had all the information and paperwork I needed. The dental assistant too was very upbeat, informative and made sure I understood the pricing for my procedures. Though this first visit with the dentist was brief, I already trust and like him. Some people and places are like that - where you feel welcome and comfortable. This is one of them.

I was treated at Gentle Dental located at Sehome Hill located at Bellingham WA specifically to repair and restore teeth decay by filling resin composite in the affected teeth. Dr Ramanjot Sahni DMD skillfully performed the procedure with excellent results. I felt comfortable throughout, no pain. Carlos, the dental assistant also did a great job. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

My experience in the office was incredible. I walked in a little nervous, but I walked out feeling like I was leaving family. On top of that, Carlos and the entire office team were very welcoming, supportive, and made an effort to interact with everyone who walked in. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a family-oriented culture and a place where you truly feel valued.
